Join the Giving and Gratitude Club

What is the giving and gratitude club?

This club is dedicated to creating meaningful opportunities for middle through high school students to give back to their community and integrate gratitude into their everyday lives. By participating in service projects, students not only help those in need, but also cultivate kindness, empathy, and a sense of responsibility. Older students will have the chance to mentor and support younger members, building connections across age groups as we work together toward a common goal of making our community a better and more compassionate place for all.

Examples of Giving activities:

-Making blankets for a homeless shelter

-Putting together care packages for the military

-Serving food at People Serving People

-Making lunch for children at the Minneapolis Crisis Nursery

-Sending holiday cards to residents at a nursing home

Examples of Gratitude activities:

-Sending thank you notes to people in our lives

-Creating a gratitude journal

-Learn and practice gratitude meditation
